Mad Hatter Creators

Privacy Policy

Effective November 4, 2026

This policy explains how Mad Hatter Creators ("the app", "we"), operated by The Mad Hatter Company LLC, collects, uses, stores, shares and deletes information, including data received from Google and YouTube through YouTube API Services.

Information we receive from Google and YouTube

When a creator connects their YouTube channel, Google gives us, with the creator's permission:

We do not request the creator's Gmail, contacts, Google Drive or other Google data.

How we use it

We use Google user data only to provide these user-facing features. We do not use it for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not use it to train AI or machine-learning models.

Google API Services User Data Policy

Mad Hatter Creators' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

YouTube API Services

Mad Hatter Creators uses YouTube API Services. By connecting YouTube you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's privacy practices are described in the Google Privacy Policy.

Storage and security

Tokens are stored encrypted (AES-GCM) in our database on Cloudflare and are used only by our server. Data is sent over HTTPS only. Access is limited to the app's server and the account owner of The Mad Hatter Co. for operating and supporting the service.

Sharing

We do not share Google or YouTube user data with third parties, except with our hosting provider (Cloudflare) to run the service, when required by law, or as part of a sale of the business with notice to you. Videos you approve are published to YouTube, where YouTube's own terms apply.

Cookies

The dashboard uses a session cookie to keep signed-in users signed in. We do not use advertising cookies on this app.

Retention and deletion

Tokens are kept while the channel is connected. When a creator disconnects YouTube in the dashboard, the stored tokens are deleted immediately. Creators can also revoke access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions; revoked tokens stop working at once and are removed from our database within 30 days. To ask us to delete all data about you, email dan@themadhatterco.net and we will delete it within 30 days.

Children

The app is not intended for anyone under 13.

Changes

We will post changes to this policy on this page and update the effective date.
